Innovative, high-volume digital LED 5 colour and white toner printers take output quality, media flexibility and cost control to new levels in the graphic arts market Egham, 12th September 2013 – OKI Europe Ltd is to demonstrate its pioneering five colour printer technology in Europe for the first time at the Viscom 2013 exhibitions in Paris (24-26 September), Milan (3-5 October) and Düsseldorf (7-9 November).
The centrepiece of the OKI stand will be an outstanding new digital LED A3 printer with white or clear toner available as a fifth colour. This industry first will provide affordable, short-run, digital print-on-demand, in white and clear gloss, enabling a wide variety of unique printing applications to be printed in-house, on demand and at a low cost.
OKI will also be showcasing a number of equally innovative printing technologies including OKI’s new high definition, digital LED, A3 colour printer, which offers outstanding print quality and unrivalled media handling capabilities, as well as the highly-successful digital LED white toner printer range, and the recently launched enterprise-class colour and mono A4 MFPs. These new innovations offer a powerful range of high-performance solutions for graphic arts and creative businesses.
“OKI are extremely excited about participating at the three VISCOM events across Europe and unveiling our brilliant new five colour digital LED printer– a true industry first. We have taken exceptional colour output quality, advanced media flexibility, high print speeds, and low running costs to a completely new level,” says Pamela Ghosal, general manager brand and marketing communications, OKI Europe. “Delegates will be able to see first-hand how this groundbreaking technology can provide graphic arts and creative businesses with a lucrative new revenue stream, by enabling them to print in house what used to be lengthy and costly outsourced print processes.”
“At the same time, together with the other new OKI products on show, it reinforces OKI’s continuing brilliance in producing ground-breaking technology solutions which meet customers’ real needs and help them achieve a competitive advantage.”
At each show, OKI will also support its sales drive with a number of special promotional offers open to event delegates only.
Viscom 2013 is a series of leading international exhibitions focused on the graphic arts market. It provides a practical forum in bringing together users, agencies, traders and end-consumers engaged in the production and application of visual communications.
“Viscom Europe is an important show for OKI,” says Ghosal. “The 2012 exhibition in Frankfurt, for example, attracted over 12,000 trade visitors from over 70 countries, of which more than half (56%) came to look at printing solutions in particular and 40% with specific intentions to purchase.
“Each show provides the ideal opportunity for graphic arts businesses to visit the OKI stand and experience for themselves how we are firmly at the forefront in providing advanced, robust, print solutions designed specifically to meet their unique demands.”
