New Unisys Services Help ServiceNow Clients Bridge the Gap between Service Management and Cyber Resilience

Solutions enable organisations to assess vulnerability, fortify response to cyber threats and protect strategic business assets

London, UK October 4, 2016 -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced new security services to help clients prevent and resolve security incidents through improved integration of security and IT operations. The new solutions include offerings for the ServiceNow Enterprise Cloud platform.

Expanding Unisys service management and security offerings, these new solutions enable clients to evaluate their existing security investments, processes and vulnerabilities to create a consolidated, closely managed system that provides continual insight into the organisation’s security posture and the status of core IT assets and information necessary for digital business.

Comprising both security consulting and ongoing security managed services, the new solutions build on Unisys’ broad security expertise. Those for the ServiceNow platform build on key capabilities of the platform’s Security Operations (SecOps) module, as well as on governance, risk, compliance and security change management capabilities.

“Today’s digital businesses rely on strong governance and automation to quickly identify and resolve issues that can affect delivery of business and IT services and security of data for workers and customers,” said Ed Liebig, global vice president, Security Service Delivery, Unisys. “These new solutions enable clients to properly assess their current security environments, align security and IT operations for a holistic view of the health of business-critical enterprise resources and leverage the ServiceNow platform as the security command center for digital business.”

The new Unisys security solutions for ServiceNow comprise the following:

- Advisory and Consulting Services – Applying Unisys’ proven security maturity modeling solution, Unisys helps clients assess current risks and controls; including vulnerability; governance and risk compliance; business continuity; security strategy; architecture and response processes; and cloud security.
- Security Intelligence and Response – Building on the capabilities of the ServiceNow SecOps module and LogRhythm security intelligence platform, this solution enables clients to plan and create an integrated, real-time system for accurately detecting and responding to alerts generated by security alerting tools.
- Secure Service Implementation through ServiceNow ServiceWatch – Unisys helps clients integrate the ServiceNow ServiceWatch Suite, which allows IT teams to discover and map the relationships among Data Center components and the business services they enable. Through Unisys Stealth® micro-segmentation software users can create detailed service maps and segment networks into secure “Communities of Interest” that prevent unauthorised access to key assets.
- Managed Security Services – Unisys manages clients’ security operations through a turnkey service, providing the consistent skills and resources required to maintain a modern, cost-effective security posture. The services can include advanced threat intelligence and human behavioral analytics to predict and pre-empt events and cyberattacks.

For added security, clients can make Stealth an integral part of any of these service-based solutions. Stealth uses identity-based microsegmentation techniques and encryption to create segments within an organisation where only authorised users can access information, while those without authorisation cannot even see that those endpoints exist. Stealth uses cryptography to confine their access to a single segment of the network – which can include everything from public clouds to mobile devices – with no ability to move laterally to other parts of the organisation.

Unisys is showcasing the new secure service management solutions for the ServiceNow enterprise cloud at the 2016 ServiceNow NOW Forums in Frankfurt, New York, Amsterdam, Washington D.C., London and Dallas.
