Northdoor, the IT consultancy and solutions provider, is proud to announce that it is the first IBM Business Partner to achieve three 2011 IBM Centre of Technical Excellence awards. Northdoor has been awarded “Power i Skills,” “Power AIX Skills with Distinction” and “Overall Breadth of Skills” for having the highest overall ‘technical vitality’ of any IBM partner in Europe.

In October 2009, IBM implemented the Business Partner Technical Vitality (BPTV) scorecard. This provides a set of clear, visible and objective measures that can demonstrate the overall breadth and IBM product depth of a partner's skills in sales, technical, architecture, project management, solutions and other key internal processes. In October last year Northdoor was recognised as an IBM business partner with potential to attain the highest BPTV Scores.

Rob Batters, Technical Director at Northdoor said:
“Northdoor has been an IBM Premier Partner since 2005. The standards needed to remain at this high level need to be proven each year and require our consultants to be trained and accredited on an ongoing basis. These awards reconfirm the dedication and technical excellence of our teams.”

AJ Thompson, Director of Enterprise Infrastructure at Northdoor added:
“We are extremely pleased that our commitment to quality service and partnership has been recognised. These awards show the continued commitment that Northdoor has to our business partners.”

In addition to IBM Power systems, Northdoor also has IBM accreditations in System x, Storage and the five key suites of the IBM software: Information Management, WebSphere, Tivoli, Rational and Lotus.
