LONDON - Monday 10th January 2011 – Greenstone Carbon Management, the global carbon solutions specialist, has announced today that it has secured a contract with Nomura, the global investment bank, to help measure, manage and report its carbon emissions across the Bank's operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Greenstone Carbon Management's Acco2unt software will allow Nomura to address its complex carbon reporting requirements and ensure compliance with national and international legislation in an accurate and timely manner.

Nomura is a leading financial services group that provides services in over 30 countries in Asia, Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa.  As a global organisation, Nomura is committed to assess the impact of their business activities on the environment. The implementation of Acco2unt will enable the management of environmental risks and assist with identifying opportunities to reduces these impacts and identify potential cost savings.
