Partnership Extends Reach of Nimble’s Flash Storage Solutions; Further Strengthens Ingram Micro Europe’s Advanced Solutions Data Centre Portfolio

LONDON – May 14, 2014 – Nimble Storage (NYSE: NMBL), a leading provider of flash-optimised hybrid storage solutions, today announced a Pan-European distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, the world’s largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain and mobile device lifecycle services, that enables the distributor to sell Nimble Storage’s portfolio of flash storage arrays. Through the distribution agreement, Ingram Micro Europe’s Advanced Solutions Division will also offer Nimble Storage’s SmartStack converged infrastructure solutions to the Nimble Storage partner community and Ingram’s broader reseller partners across Europe.

Nimble Storage’s flash storage solutions are engineered to solve the industry's most pressing storage issues: reining in storage complexity, increasing performance/capacity efficiency and implementing affordable backup and recovery. The solution is designed to help organisations maximise uptime and availability of their critical applications. To provide optimal performance and the highest level of interoperability, Nimble has developed SmartStack, built on Cisco UCS and pre-validated through ecosystem partners including VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft.

Ingram Micro Europe will leverage its strong relationships with the Cisco channels team and the Cisco partner community across Europe, together with Nimble Storage, to make SmartStack converged infrastructure available to solution providers. Ingram Micro Europe has invested significantly in its Advanced Solutions Division in the areas of pre-sales, technical expertise, demand generation, and reseller enablement services in order to help its channel partners meet the evolving and increasingly complex data management requirements of end-users.
