NXO Americas to meet global needs of NextiraOne’s international business customers and local U.S. market demands
Paris – 13 October 2011 – NextiraOne, Europe’s leading expert in communications services, has today announced its expansion into the Americas with the establishment of a new subsidiary, NXO Americas.
Based in Louisville, Kentucky, NXO Americas will meet the needs of NextiraOne’s existing customers for a local presence and create a strong base for growth in the region. It reflects the strong focus on international business by NextiraOne and consolidates an already growing business in the USA. World-wide, NextiraOne’s business with major international customers grew by 28% in 2010 and the company has built a solid reputation for implementing international communications solutions and delivering seamless global services.
The new company will serve global corporations, many already NextiraOne customers in Europe, who require global solutions and services, US-based customers with international operations and local US customers in both public sector and enterprise markets.
“NXO Americas is a logical progression for NextiraOne,” commented Simon Short, NXO Americas General Manager. “Many of our customers are global organisations and they are increasingly seeking global solutions. Up until now we have used local partners to deliver services and solutions in the region. The creation of NXO Americas will allow us to deliver the quality and portfolio of services our customers have come to expect – serving customers directly with a local presence.”
NXO Americas is an incorporated company registered in Delaware with its main office and lab located in Louisville, Kentucky. It will operate as a subsidiary of the NextiraOne Europe Group alongside NextiraOne’s other operating companies based throughout Europe. The company will have a separate NXO Americas brand and logo. Simon Short has been appointed General Manager, with Doug Warner as in-country Director of Sales and Marketing and Ron Smits as Director, Service and Operations.
In addition to their international business experience, the NXO Americas team has a proven track-record and expertise with Alcatel-Lucent and Cisco solutions. The company is an Alcatel-Lucent ‘Premier’ Business Partner and a registered Cisco business partner. The company has also established a number of partner agreements for the local sourcing of equipment and supplementary services.
Doug Warner said: “Our primary objective is to support our international customers who wish to deal with NextiraOne locally in the U.S. market and we will offer the full end-to-end NextiraOne portfolio of solutions and services. NXO Americas can provide our customers with the local relationships, solutions, expertise and tailored services, fully supported by the strength, credibility and resources of the NextiraOne Group.”
Simon Short added: “NXO Americas is a real step change in our global offering. In line with the NextiraOne strategy, we are investing in the further expansion of our international business – this has firmly established NextiraOne as one of the world’s leading communications experts.”
