Actix builds leadership team to cement customer and partner relationships globally
London, 7 November 2007 - Actix, the leader in Network Status Management (NSM) technologies for mobile operators, today announced a strengthened management team to build customer and partner relationships on a global basis. Actix has recruited senior professionals from across the mobile industry to focus on five key business areas: partnerships, services, product development, sales and marketing. The investment in a global leadership team is in line with Actix’ strategy to pursue more focussed service-led relationships with the world’s largest mobile carriers, while supporting its new suite of wireless enterprise NSM products.
“Rapid evolution has caused a shift in the business and network needs of the world’s largest mobile carriers. Today’s major operators are increasingly seeking strategic advice and business consulting services to ensure they drive maximum value from their core asset,” said Alex Hawker, CEO, Actix. “Actix is responding to this change by creating a market-focused team of experts who are committed to fostering long term relationships with operators and partners,” continued Hawker.
Actix’ new hires include Peter Read as General Manager for Global Partners, Robert McKellar as Director of Professional Services, Andrew Keen as Corporate Development Officer and Richard Kateley as Product Business Unit Director for Operations and Assurance. Meanwhile Ivan Harris has been promoted to Chief Product Officer and Chris Larmour has been promoted to the role of Chief Marketing Officer.
Actix has also made progress towards extending and strengthening its customer facing team, with a series of significant new hires in the global sales organization, including the promotion of Sanjay Nagdev to Global Vice President of Sales.
“Actix will shortly be introducing a series of entirely new and innovative Network Status Management systems to keep pace with the rapidly changing mobile landscape. Our new global management team will ensure we have the right structure and thinking to deliver these new solutions in the appropriate manner, and make certain our customers are fully supported as they roll out their next generation networks,” Hawker added.
