The "Education NOW!" program offers up to 15 % discount on solutions for wireless LAN and network connectivity
LONDON, UK, Monday 10th May, 2010 – Modern IT solutions are an essential basis for the interactive teaching and training of the future. Computers, networks and the Internet play an increasingly important role in teaching, and research would be unthinkable without them. Schools, universities and research organisations wishing to update their IT infrastructure are being addressed by a new initiative titled "Education NOW!" from the networking specialists LANCOM. "Education NOW!" offers up to 15 percent discount on selected wireless LAN and network connectivity products. Preferential conditions are available on request. Products are purchased in the usual way from specialist resellers.
Preferential conditions for the purchase of LANCOM 802.11n access points, WLAN controllers, the Public-Spot Option, LANCOM switches and the new LANCOM Web Content Filter are available to non-profit organisations in research and education, as well as schools and universities. Not eligible for this offer are commercial seminar and training organisations. Conditions are negotiated in detail for each project individually. Organisations are obliged to provide official documentation of the nature of their institution.
Resellers and end customers wishing to participate in the "Education NOW!" initiative have a central contact at LANCOM.
