15 June 2011 - Airties has licensed the MiriATE Test Automation solution from Mirifice Ltd, underlining its commitment to delivering outstanding set-top box performance and reliability.
The MiriATE product will be integrated into Airties' existing processes and systems. In addition to providing accurate, reliable and repeatable execution of conventional manual tests, MiriATE enables the introduction of realistic endurance and stress testing, which are impractical to execute manually. MiriATE will help Airties to bring product releases to market faster, based on efficient validation of new functionality and regression testing of existing functionality.

MiriATE has advanced features such as video analysis, motion detection, region comparison, and optical character recognition (OCR) that are critical in automating the majority of tests, as they replace the need for manual recognition and verification. MiriATE’s 24/7 availability, remote access, test scheduling and multiple test concurrency capabilities ensure high productivity with minimal manual intervention.
