New Release Continues to Cement Mentum’s Leadership Role in LTE Network Planning and Optimization
MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2012 - BARCELONA, SPAIN - FEBRUARY 27, 2012 - Mentum®, the industry’s leading wireless access and backhaul network planning and optimization company, today announced the release of Mentum Planet 5.4.
The latest release of Mentum Planet offers numerous improvements that support the evolution of LTE and HSPA radio standards. It also encompasses substantial platform improvements that support the management of larger networks. Mentum Planet 5.4 is the natural evolution of a very solid product and, as such, continues to expand what is already a very powerful multi-technology, multi-scenario platform for the planning, optimization, and management of wireless networks. A key feature of this release is support of GSM, WCDMA, and HSPA in the Mentum Planet Automatic Cell Planning (ACP) tool.
“Mentum Planet has been used in the deployment of the world’s first LTE networks and since then, more than 100 customers rely on Mentum Planet in the design of LTE networks. This success finds its root in the fact that Mentum Planet offers uncompromised capabilities when it comes to LTE,” commented Yann Le Helloco, Chief Technology Officer at Mentum. “Mentum Planet’s superior speed, accuracy, and flexibility, along with its ability to simulate multiple, simultaneous, real-world scenarios, makes it the very best choice when planning throughout the entire lifecycle of an LTE network.”
Live demonstrations will take place in Hall 2, Stand 2G15 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, February 27 - March 1, 2012.
