Comfone’s Executive Vice President Marketing & Sales succeeds Mathias Prüssing as Chief Executive Officer

Bern, Switzerland, 10 November, 2010 – The Comfone Board of Directors today announces that Markus Sager, former Comfone Executive Vice President Marketing & Sales, takes on the post as Comfone’s new CEO. The appointment is effective immediately.

Since the beginning of 2010, Markus Sager has successfully headed up Comfone’s Marketing & Sales Department, demonstrating great technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the roaming industry. During this time he has been responsible for all marketing and sales-related activities, including the management and direction of the global sales team and key customer account management.

His wealth of upper management experience results from his years as Managing Director of Agie Charmilles Sales Ltd, part of the Georg Fischer Corporation. Markus Sager is a graduate in Electrical Engineering and completed postgraduate studies at the Lucerne University of Applied Science in Business Development and Management.

Together with the company’s committed employees, Markus Sager is seen by the Board of Directors as the right person to steer Comfone forward to a successful future as the mobile industry’s leading and most experienced roaming services provider.

Markus Sager succeeds Mathias Prüssing, the company’s CEO since January 2008, who successfully guided Comfone through difficult economic times and leaves the company in a planned move to take on another challenge and take a further step in his career.
