...IBM COBOL 5.1 at launch

Global software and solutions company Macro 4 has today announced that its mainframe performance and fault analysis solutions will support the new IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS V5.1 when it is launched in June.

“Over the 45 years Macro 4 has been delivering performance and fault analysis solutions for mainframe users we have always worked closely with IBM to ensure we support new releases of COBOL from day one, and the same is true for IBM COBOL V5.1,” said Michelle Harris, Product Release Manager at Macro 4. “IBM COBOL is going to be packed with enhancements to allow enterprises to get the most from their mainframes – our fault analysis, testing and debugging and performance management software will be supporting this exciting new release as soon as it becomes available.”
