m2fx, the inventors and producers of the world-leading range of patented Miniflex™ fiber cables today appointed Fiber Optic Services (FOS) as its first US Certified Engineering and Installation partner. Under the agreement FOS’ qualified technical team will be recommended to m2fx customers, providing an experienced solution for design, engineering and installation of the full Miniflex product range.
m2fx selected FOS as a partner due to its in-depth knowledge of the company’s cable, microduct and protection products, extensive installation experience and technical skills. Founded in 1983 and working across the USA, FOS provides technical services to fiber optic users primarily for Telecommunications, CATV and Power Utility communications applications, including installation, splicing, testing, documentation and cut-over of fiber optic cable systems. It has completed numerous installations of a variety of projects involving m2fx solutions throughout the country.
The m2fx Certified Engineering Partner Program aims to support the growing number of customers across the globe deploying m2fx products within fiber optic installations, particularly as part of high speed telecom networks and within commercial buildings and MDU environments. Customers can contract directly with partners or via m2fx in order to gain access to design, engineering and installation services around their deployments. Utilizing the m2fx “EF&I” concept offers customers a single point of contact to provide a cost effective turn-key approach that includes feasibility analysis, design services, material selection and management, construction, testing and system documentation. This service helps customers deploy the right mix of products in the shortest possible time frame and insures a quality installation.
