Firms select LexisNexis InterAction to enhance deal flow management; LexisNexis participating in PESS 2011
LONDON, 13th June 2011 – LexisNexis UK (
www.lexisnexis.co.uk), a leading provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, today announced that three UK and European mid-market private equity firms have selected LexisNexis InterAction® as their customer relationship management tool of choice. InterAction will enable these firms to identify, uncover and leverage existing relationships, to significantly enhance deal origination and management of the deal flow process across their organisations.
In all instances, InterAction has been chosen for its ease of use, simplicity, easy integration with Microsoft Outlook, product suitability for the private equity sector and exceptional functionality. InterAction enables private equity firms to centralise information about potential investors, key relationships, conversations and correspondence, investment preferences and past deals. The solution also allows firms to track investments and investment options, report on all phases of the due diligence process and collect a complete history of the deal for use in future prospecting.
“The market is becoming buoyant again, and private equity firms are appreciating the merits of adopting a sophisticated approach to deal origination and relationship management,” says Tim Cheadle, General Manager, LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions. “We are delighted by the interest we are seeing for InterAction in the market. Private equity firms, like most professional services organisations, tend to be relationship led and they are recognising the value of harnessing the collective power of their networks, to make sound investment decisions and increase revenue potential.”
Today, InterAction is already deployed by over 40 private equity firms in the UK and across Europe.
LexisNexis is participating in the Private Equity Software & Services Showcase in London on 28 June 2011, where the company will demonstrate the functionality of InterAction. In addition, presenting alongside Catalyst Corporate Finance, an international corporate finance advisor, LexisNexis will show how the technology can be used to measure and manage deal flow; and how CRM efforts can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of private equity organisations.
