LexisNexis Formalises Long-term Relationship with Zylpha
« Posted: August 01, 2013, 04:57:02 PM »

Customers to benefit from formal partnership between secure document systems supplier and point solution developer

LONDON, 01 August 2013 – LexisNexis® Enterprise Solutions (www.lexisnexis-es.co.uk), a leading provider of content and technology solutions, today announced a formal partnership with Zylpha (www.zylpha.com),  a specialist developer of legal and secure document bundling solutions that integrate with and are complementary to Lexis® Visualfiles®, the U.K.’s leading rapid development legal and case management system.

The partnership formalises the relationship that LexisNexis and Zylpha have enjoyed for a number of years in delivering solutions to Visualfiles and SolCase clients. LexisNexis has successfully introduced Zylpha to a number of customers who have additional, specific requirements that sit outside Visualfiles and SolCase’s core platform functionality. Using Zylpha’s applications, Visualfiles and SolCase customers have been able to cost effectively make substantial improvements to their business processes with the knowledge that the solutions meet LexisNexis quality standards.

“We have a long standing relationship with Zylpha as a result of a strong joint customer base,” said Nigel Williams, Lexis Visualfiles Product Manager at LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions. “Formalising this partnership allows us to work closely together to quickly identify and devise complementary solutions to meet our customers’ evolving business needs, especially in today’s rapidly changing market. Zylpha’s core capability lies in developing applications for those customers where secure electronic communication and document bundling is critically important. The Zylpha products complement our solutions greatly, whilst at LexisNexis we remain focused on developing the bigger, strategic and long-ranging Visualfiles platform functionality in order to deliver broader solutions required by legal services providers across the sector.”

Zylpha offers a wide range of applications, integrations and services. These include: Court and document bundling, secure document transfer, integrations with the Ministry of Justice’s Road Traffic Accident claims portal, electronic document verification and online AML identity verification solutions.

“We welcome this formal partnership,” commented Paul Hinchliffe, Managing Partner at leading personal injury and aviation claims specialist firm, Bott & Co. “Zylpha’s products are tailor-made to work with Visualfiles technology.  A formal agreement between the two organisations will enable a better flow of ideas and thoughts to jointly identify future applications to meet our business needs. We are maximising our investment in the platform by extending its functionality in this manner.”

Tim Long, Managing Director of Zylpha, added, “Given the LexisNexis focus on Visualfiles and its influence in the legal market, this partnership reflects our successful relationship to date in meeting the needs of LexisNexis customers. It will allow us to work even more closely together as we develop new forward thinking solutions that address clients’ business challenges. We are looking forward to developing the relationship with LexisNexis further over time.”

Lexis® Visualfiles® is the most widely used legal case and matter management system in the U.K., with more than 25,000 registered users in firms ranging from five to over 1,000 employees. It is a proven, flexible and powerful entity-based system that allows firms to control their business processes today; and its unique rapid application development capabilities empower organisations to customise the solution to easily and quickly accommodate new market developments and changing business requirements.
