Largest independent Enterprise Management specialist HERMES SoftLab completes merger with ComTrade

21st September 2010, Mountain View, CA and Ljubljana, Slovenia – HERMES SoftLab, a leading enterprise application and infrastructure management specialist, today announced its successful renaming to ComTrade completing the merger. HERMES SoftLab has built the pioneering independent position in “best in class” solutions for management within HP’s Operations Manager or HP SiteScope (smart plug-ins) and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (application management packs) of Oracle Siebel CRM/Oracle BI, EMC Documentum, Citrix XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, and Microsoft Terminal Server.

ComTrade, a trusted software partner for large and emerging players in the application management space, holds a strong presence in fourteen countries across Europe and the USA, with over 1500 employees, 1200 of whom are skilled software and system engineers.

The merger brings together two powerhouses in Central Europe: HERMES SoftLab, with strong software and professional services for the storage, gaming and embedded software markets, and ComTrade as a distribution giant in the region.
