Cloud-based options require minimum upfront investment - easy browser access on any device
Bexleyheath, Kent, 12 March 2012: Lakeview, a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and services, has launched LV ERP as a cloud-based solution following the success of its latest on-premise product.
This cloud-based ERP product is targeted at small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to benefit from the minimised up-front investment and flexibility of the company’s proven ERP and accounting software.
The new cloud solution incorporates an option for a web-based front-end interface, which enables remote users to access the LV ERP using a browser via any device.
Lakeview offers its latest software and services through a number of finance options:
• Buy the right to use LV ERP for as long as the customer chooses
• Take advantage of attractive leasing options tailored specifically to the customer’s needs
• Rent LV ERP via a Software as a Service (SaaS) option on a per user per month basis, as a lower-cost entry point for investment
Customers can access any of these options, regardless of whether they want the ERP solution to reside on their existing in-house IT infrastructure or be hosted on the cloud. In each case, Lakeview can evaluate, advise and implement the most appropriate solution to meet each SME’s specific requirements.
“We believe this range of options is a first in our marketplace,” says Lakeview CEO Mark Greatrex. “The LV product was designed with the cloud in mind and is equally effective as an on-premise or cloud-based solution.”
“Customers can choose to buy the software or rent the software as a service and can benefit from the flexibility, industry-leading technology and advanced features of our ERP software, in a form which best suits their financial circumstances. This can help in achieving the targeted cost savings central to the business case.”
In developing its cloud offering, Lakeview has partnered with Rackspace, a recognised world leader in web-hosting solutions. “By developing our own software in-house and having us manage service providers, customers benefit from the convenience of a single point of contact in providing ongoing support,” says Greatrex. “They can also have direct access to our consultants, which means that any tweaks or modifications needed to suit each individual implementation can be made, quickly and simply.”
NOTE: The cloud-based solution was launched on 1 February 2012.
