- Event opens doors to innovation excellence -
London, 18 September 2013: IP EXPO, the fastest growing end-to-end IT enterprise event, has announced the launch of Futures Den, a unique, community space dedicated to start-up companies in the technology industry. Developed in collaboration with Tech Trailblazers, a global awards initiative for enterprise tech start-ups, the new zone will showcase technological and commercial innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.
At this year’s event, taking place in London at Earls Court 2 on 16 and 17 October, the Futures Den will provide the perfect opportunity for tech start-ups to connect with end-users, and for end-users and IT decision makers to be made aware of what is being currently developed and gain insight into new and future technology.
“IP EXPO has always been about bringing our audiences the most current trends and technologies in a collaborative and engaging environment. With Futures Den we are taking this a step further by introducing visitors to start-ups who are driving innovation and delivering the technologies of tomorrow. In much the same way, these entrepreneurs now have a space in which to interact with their future customers, exchange stories with other start-ups and hear from successful young companies, learning from their experiences,” says Mike England, Content Director, IP EXPO.
The Futures Den includes a dedicated education area where start-ups will be delivering five to seven -minute lightning presentations demonstrating how they have overcome enterprise IT issues and showcasing their technologies. A number of informal panel debates will also take place, focusing on the challenges that UK start-ups face – including everything from marketing and finance, to human resources.
“The Futures Den provides a welcoming and vibrant space for start-ups and we are very excited to be hosting these pioneers and extending a real sense of support and community to them in the context of the larger IP EXPO event,” concludes England.
There are still limited opportunities for speakers to participate in the Lightning Talks and panel discussions. If you are a privately funded tech start-up five years old or younger and would like to participate or would like more information about attending the Futures Den, please contact
