Interoute named as best in the market for unified communications conferencing services
London, 27 February, 2014 - Interoute, owner operator of Europe's largest cloud platform, has received the Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award for its best practice conferencing services. In selecting Interoute for this award Frost & Sullivan said "Interoute has developed its competitive advantage around integration services and unified communications." This award recognizes Interoute's excellence in managed Video as a Service, audio conferencing, hosted Lync and cloud services including Interoute Virtual Data centre.
Key to Interoute's success in this area is its enterprise Unified ICT infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) approach to delivering a host of services on a single secured platform. Unified ICT gives customers the flexibility to deploy the services they want and add more features as their business needs change, each integrated with the existing services.
The Frost & Sullivan award report states that "by empowering customers to easily add to their conferencing services as their businesses evolve, Interoute's deployment options add value to the customer at each step of their collaboration services evolution."
Mark Hickey, Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan, commented:
"Frost & Sullivan's independent analysis of the Conferencing Services market clearly shows that Interoute adds value to its customers' investments by centering conferencing around integration and unifying communications. By consolidating the various components of conferencing on a single accessible network, customers are empowered to use their conferencing services to improve productivity, while immediately benefitting from the cost savings of cloud computing."
Matthew Finnie, Interoute CTO, commented: "Our Networked Cloud platform forms the foundation of our enterprise Unified ICT services, giving us the edge in a competitive and dynamic market. Integrating our unified communications video and voice conferencing services with our Networked Cloud removes complexity for customers, giving them more flexibility and better performance."
