During the past business year, the Hamburg-based company achieved a significant increase in turnover especially in Latin America. Likewise, in Africa and Europe, profits went up. In addition, gateprotect won three more renowned distributors, Synnex Canada Limited, Simet Turkey and Full IP Solutions from France, who are now selling the easy-to-use, award-winning Next Generation Firewalls from Germany in the international market.
The market for IT security in Latin America is booming: The demand for reliable firewalls from Germany and for the protection of mobile devices has risen considerably in 2013, not least because of the media coverage of the topic of cyber-security. “One reason why gateprotect has been so successful in South and Central America is that we have been cooperating with strong partners in an extensive network of distributors, for example A10ti in Brazil, Inforc in Ecuador and TMW Inc. in Panama. In Northern America, gateprotect has as well continued strengthening its presence thanks to the increased demand for easy-to-use IT security solutions form Germany. With Synnex Canada Limited, another renowned distributor of technology products has taken up the sale of gateprotect security solutions in the region. The firewalls developed in Germany with all commonly used UTM functionalities for small companies, medical practices, lawyers‘ offices and the mid-tier, the Managed Security systems for large companies, the VPN client systems for the secure interconnection of subsidiaries and home offices as well as the endpoint solution “Complete Security” offer ultra-modern, reliable protection for networks and terminals from one source.
In France, the distributor Full IP Solutions, who has specialized in IT security, has assumed the distribution of gateprotect solutions. “Especially our patented eGUI technology for the easy management of complex IT networks provides customers in the local market with a real advantage.
