Beijing, China/Cambridge, UK, June 5th, 2013: AsiaInfo-Linkage (NASDAQ: ASIA), Asia’s leading supplier of BSS systems, together with China Mobile as the strategic partner, have won the prestigious award for Business Service Innovation in the annual Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards.
Announced at a gala event in London last night, the award is for China Mobile’s success in implementing multi-tenancy cloud-enablement for streamlined business operations. The project has been rolled out across all of the operator’s 31 provincial subsidiaries, and its headquarters in Beijing.
Together with AsiaInfo-Linkage, China Mobile developed an innovative cloud mobility architecture with support for multi-tenancy. Five virtualized platforms are deployed on a single Cloud-based Operation Platform Container (COPC), supporting the business operations of different units and greatly improving the efficiency of pre-sales, in-sales and after-sales processes.
