Ingeus, the provider of employment and training services, is making significant savings on its voice traffic since it tasked Easynet Global Services with delivering its VoIP services.  Easynet, the managed cloud infrastructure provider, has removed the need for Ingeus to negotiate its voice costs and now carries out these negotiations on its behalf, resulting in a 35% reduction in rates this year, which followed a 16% reduction last year. Additionally, by moving its voice traffic to IP, Ingeus has improved the quality, flexibility and mobility of its communication.

Ingeus has helped over 150,000 people into work since 2002.  Two years ago, it selected Easynet to link together its sites worldwide to drive greater levels of operational efficiency and collaboration across the organisation. The resilient, secure network supports communications, business applications and cloud-based services. Its fully managed IP Telephony solution gives Ingeus a cost-effective call management system.

Ingeus’s key business is to support long-term unemployed people into sustainable work, and effective communications technology lies at its heart.  Systems, processes and data are shared digitally across the Easynet corporate network and support staff in their mission to find suitable, lasting employment for jobseekers.

Adrian Thirkill, COO and MD - UK, Easynet Global Services commented, “Ingeus really does have the potential to change people’s lives, so without question they must have IT systems in place to deliver on this huge responsibility.  We’ve overhauled their IT with a global network and have transformed their voice communications. Now they can focus on their core business whilst we work to save money on their voice costs year after year.”

Paul Hobbs, Chief Information Officer at Ingeus added, “We chose Easynet as they had extensive expertise in setting up and maintaining robust and reliable global networks. Easynet took the time to get to know our business before recommending an appropriate solution and the time its project management team spent with our business means we now have an infrastructure that can fully complement our objectives moving forward, as well as day-to-day operations. It’s great that we continue to be presented with cost savings without us having to spend time and resources negotiating with providers.”
