Infobip, a leading mobile messaging specialist, today announces the appointment of Matthew Hornsey as Vice President. The new role will see Matthew head up Infobip’s Carrier Relations division.
Matthew has extensive experience working with mobile operators and service providers, having spent the last ten years at Jersey Telecom. In 2002 he co-founded their offshore division (JT Global), and during the next eight years managed JT Global’s interests in messaging, voice interconnects and Machine-2-Machine (M2M) Telemetry.
The appointment comes as Infobip strengthens its relationships with leading mobile operators worldwide. An associate member of the GSM Association (GSMA), Infobip already offers operators a range of messaging products and solutions, including a GSMA Open Connectivity (OC) certified SMS hub service.
Matthew Hornsey, Vice President, Infobip, said: “Having spent nearly ten years at a leading mobile operator, I’m looking forward to using my expertise and experience to show operators how Infobip’s range of services and solutions can not only enhance their product offering, but also help reduce overheads and increase revenue.”
Silvio Kutic, CEO, Infobip, said: “Infobip is already well known within the mobile operator community through its GSM Association membership and certified SMS hub service. With his proven track record working with mobile operators and service providers, Matthew is ideally suited to leading the Carrier Relations division of Infobip to the next level of growth.”
