19th September 2011 – London, UK: According to new research conducted by independent customer experience auditors Service Science, Mazuma Mobile is the UK’s best performing mobile phone recycler. Service Science enlisted the use of a team of mystery shoppers to evaluate nine leading UK mobile phone recyclers between July and August 2011 to objectively measure the service quality of each service based on assessment of the speed of service, customer service standards and price.
Mazuma Mobile also ranked number one for best service quality and the fastest service, providing payment within 3 days starting from the day the sale was registered online. This far exceeded many of the other services, as 6 out of 9 of the recyclers surveyed took between 9 and 15 days from the day the sale was registered on their site to the point at which the customer was paid. One recycler took almost over a month to complete the transaction.

The Service Science survey is impartial, and the company emphasises its independence from commissioning company. Although Mazuma were consulted in the initial process, Service Science had the final say in what is deemed to be good customer service practice for the survey. Mystery shoppers were also unaware of who had commissioned the research.
