First joint installation at Dorchester Collection’s latest property, 45 Park Lane

(London, February 20 2012) - iBAHN, a global leader in IP platform-based systems and broadband technologies for the hospitality industry, and Bang & Olufsen, the world-leading audio and video brand announce a partnership agreement, and first installation, to combine Bang & Olufsen’s audio visual products with iBAHN’s digital entertainment and broadband services for the hospitality market.

Bang & Olufsen’s globally recognised excellence in the provision of audio and video entertainment systems for hotels and homes further strengthens the best-of-class solutions for the hospitality sector as it evolves revenue-generating in-room entertainment and connectivity services.

iBAHN has fully tested iMEDIA, its innovative IP-based information and entertainment platform for hotels, with Bang & Olufsen’s product solutions, to ensure full compatibility with all digital services, including integration with Bang & Olufsen’s Remote Controls, Beo4 and Beo6.

This means iBAHN is one of the selected hotel system providers able to deliver services directly through existing Bang & Olufsen controllers. As an additional feature, the controllers can be fully customised to fit with the digital set-up in any hotel room, providing intuitive ease of use for the guest.

The first hotel to install the joint iBAHN and Bang & Olufsen offering is the prestigious 45 Park Lane, (http://www.45parklane.com/) Dorchester Collection’s latest hotel in Mayfair London, which opened in September 2011.

As a result of the partnership, guests at 45 Park Lane will now be able to take advantage of iBAHN’s state-of-the-art iMEDIA solution and broadband, delivering digital services that combine digital TV entertainment with superb HD picture quality on Bang & Olufsen’s widescreen displays.

This will also mean that the hotel can totally integrate guest services with entertainment packages, offering multiple revenue streams and improved guest satisfaction from the ease of use of the system and greater choice of high quality entertainment.
