Aia Software has established Aia Campus Online, a platform for anyone who wants to further develop their document creation and ITP knowledge and skills.
Software is constantly evolving, and keeping up to speed with developments is a constant challenge for users. Being able to expand your knowledge any time, anywhere is crucial. Aia Software is facilitating this by opening Aia Campus Online, which complements to the Aia Campus sessions that have been running for some time now in Aia Software's offices in the Netherlands (open to Dutch-speaking customers, partners and other interested parties) and makes access to information available to a broader, international audience.
“Self-development and the sharing of software knowledge by and for users is crucial to the evolution of our software,” said Paul Dirven, director of Aia Software. “This new knowledge platform combines ITP expertise and news with the experiences and opinions of both our users and our employees in one, convenient, virtual environment.”
Stephen Barrett, Application Support Analyst at WHSCC (insurance), uses ITP on a daily basis. “Aia Campus Online will certainly be beneficial for ITP end users. It is great to have an additional source of information - I am sure it will make life even easier. Aia Campus Online looks good too, I look forward to using it.’’
Aia Campus Online is made up of various virtual buildings, including a ‘library’ with a Knowledge Centre, a ‘theatre’ that stages webinars and presentations, and a ‘school’ for e-learning modules. Like any real college campus, there is also a ‘pub’ where visitors can share code snippets and exchange tips & tricks. English is the main language used within Aia Campus Online.
Aia Campus Online's design allows users to independently navigate between the various buildings and departments, with knowledge shared in the trusted formats of blog posts, browsable PDF files and videos.
