-IT vendor demos HP Converged Cloud portfolio at the UK's number one IT infrastructure event-

London, UK – 16 October 2012 – HP will showcase its efficient, centralised client virtualization offerings at IP EXPO on 17 and 18 October 2012.

During the show at London’s Earls Court 2, the IT vendor will demo its HP Converged Cloud portfolio, the industry’s first hybrid delivery approach based on open standards. On show as part of the portfolio, HP CloudSystem provides a complete, integrated open platform for private, public and hybrid clouds.

HP’s client virtualization offerings enable a hybrid model which uses a range of virtualization software and delivery models. Client virtualization allows users to access their desktop any time, anywhere, without being tied to a single client device.

On stand C72 at IP EXPO, HP will showcase the HP t410 AiO Smart Zero Client, its lowest power zero client, and the HP t610 Flexible Thin Client, which allows users to get PC-like multimedia performance powered by AMD’s new APU technology in dual-core processors.

During the two-day show, IP EXPO delegates will have the opportunity to learn from HP experts about topics such as accelerating the cloud, security in the cloud, virtual desktop infrastructure and storage solutions for virtualized environments by joining the HP seminar and Lab sessions running throughout the event.

On day one of the show, HP Labs Director of Cloud Services, Dr John Manley, will present his keynote, Beyond Simply the Cloud, at 11h10. During his presentation, Manley will demonstrate the new abilities and powers opened by the cloud, taking a lightning-fast trip through the present and the immediate future.
