High availability, future-proofed collaboration opportunity
Allows full collaboration and mobility for all users
Lowers management and service costs significantly for school
Nieuwegein, 04 February 2013 – The Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA), also known as the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, is one of the largest institutes in the Netherlands. To ensure that its communications systems are as leading-edge as its programmes, HvA selected Avaya Aura® to replace its Cisco implementation and will now standardise its communications across its 3000 employees.
Implementing Avaya Aura will allow HvA to fully leverage its centralised twin datacenter, and ensure the high availability for its employees that the institution, continually expanding, needs to ensure success both for current and future staff and students. To complete its communications, HvA has also chosen Avaya for contact centre solutions to deploy in the near future, and expects to further optimise its communications for its internal staff as well as external customers and students.

"HvA is already a long time user of Avaya technology. Avaya’s Aura platform offers us the opportunity to standardise our systems and implement unified communications. In addition, we plan to phase out third-party technology and standardise communications for more than 3,000 employees, regardless of their location. The deployment of the Avaya Aura solution lowers our management and service costs significantly."
