LONDON – [10 November 2011] Greenstone Carbon Management, the global specialist carbon solution company, has announced the release of version 2.7 of its Acco2unt carbon management software at its recent User Conference in London.  This release includes enhanced functionality to perform detailed analyses of an organisation’s business travel data and a new enterprise wide target tracking and reporting capability.

Greenstone’s Acco2unt carbon management solution has been enhanced to enable organisations to process unlimited numbers of employee journeys at a detailed level, from their travel management or ERP system.  All journeys can be uploaded automatically and tagged according to whether the travel is client or non-client, along with the employee’s job role and business unit.  The user can then analyse consumption and carbon emissions according to multiple variables, for example: journey type, most popular routes, distance travelled, client vs. non-client travel and a comparison of travel behaviour across different job roles and business units.

Acco2unt 2.7 also includes enhancements to the solution’s target setting capability enabling clients to set entity and activity specific targets across all organisational levels.   Forecast business growth metrics can also be incorporated to consider the impact of reduction projects that will be implemented during the target period.  Users are able to track progress through performance management dashboards and use the analysis to make better informed decisions about the ROI of carbon reduction activities.
