See the FTS demos; a new joint demo with Vedicis’ policy enforcement; and meet a satisfied FTS customer

Herzliya, Israel | 20th February, 2012: FTS, a global provider of billing, customer care and policy control solutions for communications and content service providers is inviting the industry to come and view the live demo of its Leap™ Billing and Leap Policy Control solutions at Mobile World Congress 2012.

Available to view on the FTS stand, in Hall 6, stand C-50, the demonstration will highlight the unprecedented levels of flexibility and independence that FTS provides for service providers in their billing and policy control solutions.

“For most carriers the marketing department can devise new plans to attract new customers, or reward existing ones, but the billing system and the time required to make the change requests slows the process down,” said Nir Asulin, FTS’ recently appointed CEO, who will be attending the show in Barcelona.

FTS will also be showing a joint demo with its partner Vedicis. The demo will highlight how the Vedicis policy enforcement (PCEF) solution works with FTS’s online/offline charging and PCRF solution, Leap™ Policy Control, to create an integrated end-to-end Policy Control & Charging offering for mobile and fixed line operators.

The joint Policy Control & Charging Solution from Vedicis and FTS will be able to help operators resolve a number of issues that are currently affecting the sector, including enabling cross-selling plans; controlling traffic management through dynamic policy rules for bandwidth fair usage; or providing tiered services such as packages based on a choice of access speed, download/upload quotas, QoS prioritization, applications, devices, location or time of day/week according to the consumer’s preference.
