Citicus announces its latest version of Citicus MOCA, the world’s first free, premier-quality business app for conducting criticality assessments, using the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The new version has now been extended for criticality assessments of industrial control systems (ICS), used in manufacturing and process industries.
Using Citicus MOCA, people on the move can evaluate the 'what’s at stake' side of the risk equation using a sound, easy-to-use, business-oriented technique that objectively measures the criticality of a wide range of assets and processes their organization depends on. This is a prerequisite for managing key areas of risk effectively.
Citicus MOCA now has a new, enhanced user interface, enabling the selection of different levels of harm by clicking the edges of any layer of Citicus MOCA’s innovative harm selector. Citicus MOCA also has the ability to present on a wide-screen TV or on a big screen - via a projector - so it can be used by multiple users. Citicus MOCA now supports industry-standard VGA and HDMI methods of connection and iOS5 - the latest version of Apple’s operating system.
Leading consultants TORC advise that Citicus MOCA “enables one to assess the criticality of an asset simply and quickly, giving one ready access to the thinking processes of security and risk professionals – at your fingertips”.
Marko Kapp, director at Citicus said, “Citicus MOCA for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has been downloaded by individuals in around 50 countries, and has been acclaimed for making an innovative contribution to managing business risk effectively. After user feedback and extensive research, we have extended its range and capabilities – including now covering critical ICS risk assessment. By providing Citicus MoCA free of charge, we are making risk assessment more accessible and believe the app will significantly enhance organizations’ risk and governance efforts.”
Citicus MOCA is available free of charge on the App Store and can be downloaded via Apple iTunes or directly from your mobile device. Users can send completed assessments for processing, also free of charge, by the Citicus Barista processing service. Alternatively, users can integrate Citicus MOCA with their Citicus ONE risk management system or other systems that support Citicus MOCA’s web service.
