Optima Community Association, Cobalt Housing, Six Town Housing and Tai Ceredigion are the latest social housing providers to select Covalent CPM
London, UK –
Covalent Software, a leading provider of corporate management software applications, today announces its appointment by four social housing providers;
Optima Community Association,
Cobalt Housing,
Six Town Housing and
Tai Ceredigion, to drive improved corporate performance through
Covalent CPM. To date, Covalent CPM is used by 61 social housing providers across the UK.
Covalent CPM will support the Social Housing providers’ day-to-day activities by ensuring compliance with performance frameworks and tracking actions in service and improvement plans. It also manages tenant feedback and consultation events, ensuring the organisations’ strategy and business plan objectives are regularly updated and correct.
Optima Community Association will be using Covalent CPM to monitor KPIs, actions and risks, and perform self assessments. “Through Covalent CPM we aim to broaden awareness and develop a more holistic approach to performance management, clearly identifying responsibility and progress across a range of actions and indicators,” said Kevin Cassidy, ICT Manager, Optima Community Association. “We have been really pleased with the level of implementation support from Covalent Software - they have been very responsive and are quick to provide advice and guidance. The progress we have made in a short space of time has already brought an appreciation to many employees of the benefits that Covalent CPM can bring to their work.”
Optima Community Association is an award-winning housing association based in central Birmingham, owning and managing over 2,000 homes. The majority of these homes are in five estates in Edgbaston and Ladywood and have been transformed through an ongoing £550m regeneration programme.
Cobalt Housing is a Housing Association based in North Liverpool providing 5,600 homes for social rent and is the tenth Social Housing Provider in Merseyside to adopt Covalent CPM. It will track its performance indicators and actions on Covalent CPM, as well as its customer consultation events.
“We’re going to use Covalent’s Action Plans, Local PI and Consultations modules to support the business more effectively and manage a whole host of action plans and performance reports by consolidating them into one system,” said Fiona Wilkie, Director of Performance and Review, Cobalt Housing. “We were attracted to Covalent due to the high standard of reporting the modules offered and the ability to integrate triggers so staff can get email alerts rather than having to manually open each of our current plans to see what’s due for completion. We also really liked the scorecards and different ways to present data which we can customise to fit with the way we work. “
“With cuts to government spending and uncertainty surrounding industry regulation, Social Housing providers are faced with the challenge of delivering a high level of service whilst providing quality homes,” said Peter McHugh, CEO and founder, Covalent Software. “Covalent CPM ensures successful outcomes against these challenges by integrating all corporate performance elements, such as key metrics, action plans, risks, tenant feedback and consultations, with performance reporting. This enables social housing providers to drill down and identify immediate areas for action or improvement, along with providing a detailed overview.”
