Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator to power ITEX’s new on-demand, self-service cloud services for offshore customers

Livingston, Scotland - 29th May 2012 - Flexiant, a leading European provider of cloud orchestration software for on-demand, fully automated provisioning of cloud services, today announced that ITEX, the technology solutions specialists for offshore markets, has chosen Flexiant to power its new self-provisioning cloud infrastructure services platform. ITEX will also offer Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator as a white labelled, turnkey solution to system integrators and software developers wanting to provide cloud services to their clients.

Based in the Channel Islands, ITEX provides a semi-private cloud, offering a hosted infrastructure service from its own data centres and serves clients that are sensitive about the location and jurisdiction of their data. Specialists in the financial services, e-gaming and e-commerce sectors, ITEX needed to be able to instantly control, build and monitor its cloud services.

After several months of market assessment, the company turned to Flexiant’s software to automate the process by which the physical and virtual cloud infrastructure resources are deployed.

By using Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator as the basis of its new cloud computing service, ITEX can now deliver a self-service cloud service to its customers, giving them the ability to rapidly deploy a complete computing infrastructure on a pay-per-use basis.
