Combination of ExaGrid Disk Backup Appliance and CA ARCserve D2D Software Provides Fast, Cost-Effective Data Protection and Disaster Recovery

London – July 9, 2013 – CA Technologies and ExaGrid® Systems, Inc. today announced an agreement to provide mid-market and small enterprise organisations with quicker, more efficient backup and recovery for both physical and virtual servers.

The companies have teamed up to deliver a comprehensive customised solution – which pairs CA ARCserve® D2D image-based backup and recovery software and ExaGrid disk storage and deduplication appliance hardware – that helps slash storage requirements and related costs while shortening backup windows, speeding recovery, and delivering more reliable offsite disaster recovery.
