Econsultancy launches MENA digital marketing survey

Econsultancy this week launches the State of Digital Marketing survey, carried out in association with ArabianBusiness.com and aimed at marketers in the Middle East and North Africa.

The research, which is also being supported by MediaME, is relevant for brands, retailers, publishers and digital agencies.

The research will uncover how companies in the Middle East are currently using digital marketing and allocating budgets, exploring the use of marketing channels such as email, search marketing and online advertising.

Those taking the online survey will get access to a free copy of the in-depth report - worth US$350 - when it is published in April 2011.

Econsultancy’s Research Director Linus Gregoriadis said: “We are calling on all digital marketers in the region to take part in this survey, so we can make this research as comprehensive as possible and gain a deeper understanding of how companies are approaching digital marketing. Those taking part will get a free copy of the resulting report.”

He added: “We are delighted that ArabianBusiness.com are partnering with us on this research, as this will help raise the profile of this study across the region.”

The survey can be taken at http://ecly.co/MENA-digital. The deadline for taking part in the confidential survey is 25 February, 2011.

The survey launch follows Econsultancy’s publication of the MENA Internet Statistics Compendium in January 2011. The report contains an aggregation of third-party and proprietary research, data and charts that give insight into digital marketing across the region.

This 30+ page report will be updated monthly, ensuring that it grows in size and contains the most up-to-date content to give marketers in the Middle East and North Africa region a single resource to quickly find the latest data for planning, meetings or presentations.
