London, 12th May 2015: Nexus Business Media Ltd, organisers of the European Conference on Optical Communications Exhibition (ECOC), has today released their popular Market Focus agenda which spans across three days of the show in September. The ECOC Exhibition, which this year is in the striking city of Valencia, is the largest optical communications event in Europe and is the key meeting place for everyone in the fibre optic communication technology industry.

The topics for this year’s market focus have been decided by the ECOC Exhibition Advisory Panel, which includes global representatives from across the optical communications space with a selection of independent industry bodies, analyst groups, system vendors, telecom operators and component manufacturers. Industry experts Frank Chang from Inphi and Bimal Nayar from Network Rail, are the newest additions to the experienced committee which will again be chaired by Per Danielsen, editor of Telekommunikation.

In 2014, Market Focus surpassed all expectations, attracting over 1,700 attendees to the sessions over the three days of the exhibition. Audience levels grew for a third year in a row, thanks to presentations from leading companies including Orange Labs, Alcatel Lucent, Huawei, Telefonica, Ciena, Finisar and Adva.
