ECA tries to prevent members from canceling

The Entertainment Consumers Association (ECA) recently made some changes to their website, removing their registered members' "cancel" link in their profiles.  Most of the members of ECA joined to get the Amazon.com discounts that the site offered, a feature that was recently removed, along with the cancel link on member's accounts.  Members on the forum believe this might be a tactic to keep members from canceling their account, where users are now forced to send a written letter to ECA just to cancel.  Members of ECA aren't even able to submit an email or phone ECA to cancel their membership.  This makes the process longer and more difficult to cancel accounts.   Read full story...
