London, 19 April 2011 – Dialogue Communications, a specialist in mobile messaging and mobile billing solutions, has today announced the launch of a global SMS “Cloud Connector” for Eloqua, the leader in revenue performance management solutions. Marketers can now use SMS for Eloqua to maximise their marketing campaigns and provide an alternative two-way communication channel that is instant, increases connection with current and new audiences and encourages a reactive response.
SMS for Eloqua has been designed by Dialogue for easy integration with existing Eloqua software and enables the sending of personalised and targeted text messages to mobile users internationally who can then also respond by SMS if required.
“The adoption of our world-class SMS Cloud Connector for the Eloqua Open API platform allows marketers to access simple, automated mobile communications using a single platform,” said Guillaume Peersman, Dialogue’s Managing Director. “We are delighted to have partnered with Eloqua to deliver SMS and we are excited to see how its customers embrace SMS as part of their overall multi-channel marketing approach.”
SMS is a powerful marketing tool with 97% of all SMS messages being opened and 95% of all messages being read within four to fourteen minutes. It is such figures that have driven the demand for Dialogue’s SMS extensions and the appeal for organisations to communicate through SMS messaging.
The SMS for Eloqua solution is simple to integrate with the Eloqua platform and provides rapid, high-quality and reliable SMS communication. It delivers SMS internationally and gives Eloqua clients the capability to automatically send outbound SMS to one or more individuals and receive inbound messages. Messages sent to one person or to a targeted consumer demographic could include promotional offers, product and service updates, reminders, upcoming events and invitations.
Incoming and outgoing messages associated with a contact can be stored through the system and a tracking function allows marketers to view the number of sent and received messages and specific behavioral traits of an individual contact.
It is a requirement that marketers also provide contacts with an option to opt-out of receiving SMS communication so Dialogue has built in a function to SMS for Eloqua that marks any requests not to receive messages and ensures only the right people receive future SMS messages.
Stuart Wheldon, Eloqua’s Senior Director Customer Success & Strategy, said: “Our clients are always looking for the best and fastest ways to communicate with audiences and SMS is very much a key tool in today’s market. Moreover, this announcement reinforces our vision for an open exchange of Eloqua Cloud Connectors – a network of third-party applications that give our users a complete view of their customers. We are thrilled SMS for Eloqua will help make this vision a reality.”
Dialogue has over 16 years’ experience in developing and implementing SMS messaging solutions and has integrated several SMS API plug-ins over the years, the most recent – in addition to Eloqua – being for world-leading recruitment software company Bullhorn. SMS for Bullhorn initially launched in the UK and has now been successfully rolled out across the US and Australia.
Marketers using Eloqua can register for the new SMS Cloud Connector for Eloqua service through
