Deep-Secure Ltd has won a second substantial order from the ATLAS consortium for its High Assurance Guard products, to be incorporated as part of a high-security managed infrastructure service for the UK Ministry of Defence.

Commissioned under the Defence Information Infrastructure (DII) programme, the initial projects are focused on deployment across the MOD's tactical and fixed communication systems.

DeepSecure form part of the boundary protection devices, offering improved and secure communication options. These will include secure connectivity to multinational coalition partners, providing an essential element of joint capability for operations undertaken by the UK defence forces.

Subsequent projects will see DeepSecure built into the design of other DII information sharing systems.

Miles Clee, Chief Executive of Deep-Secure Ltd, said: “We're delighted with this contract award, particularly since it follows a very stringent selection exercise in which our DeepSecure product was set against offerings from several other suppliers.

“It shows that we are trusted in the most demanding international security environments.”

He added: “The selection was based upon the secure functional capability of the DeepSecure platform, which has been engineered specifically to meet comprehensive security targets evaluated to EAL4 in the UK by the Communications-Electronics Security Group.”
