The first migration tool to be able to migrate from tradition email to Google Apps, Microsoft 365 and Google Postini

Cloud Technology Solutions (CTS) has today announced its Cloud Migrator tool, a world-wide first for email migration, enabling the simple and easy migration of a Novell GroupWise, Microsoft Exchange, Scalix or Google Apps system to Google Apps, Google Postini Services or the newly launched Microsoft Office 365.

“In short, we can move email, contacts and calendars for users within an organisation from any traditional messaging system to the cloud; be that Google Apps, Microsoft 365 or the Google Postini archiving service,” said Steve Kaye, chief executive, CTS.

“It is always possible to migrate many users simultaneously, but if a large source system is to be migrated then it is possible to scale up the migration process to run multiple instances of the migration tool to ensure efficient transfer of data into the cloud.

“To our knowledge, there isn’t another tool on the market that can do large scale migrations from traditional platforms to all of the cloud based email systems – including the newly launched Microsoft 365.”

Hundreds of organisations have used the Cloud Migrator - on average the tool is used to move over 2000 users to the cloud every week, with hundreds of thousands of user migrations under its belt, and has reduced migration time by about 35% in total.
