Courion to present an intelligence and risk-driven approach to Identity and Access Management (IAM) at London event in September

LONDON, UK, 28 August 2013 — Courion Corporation, the leader in risk-driven identity and access management (IAM), will speak at the 2013 ISACA EuroCACS/ISRM conference in London which will take place between 16-18 September.

On the opening day of the conference Courion will deliver two presentations that will help attendees understand the importance of intelligence driven Identity and Access Management (IAM) and how it can address the risk management and data governance concerns of today’s organisations. These include controlling access to sensitive data and applications in a heterogeneous user and device environment as well as ensuring compliance with internal security policies and data protection standards.

The 2013 EuroCACS/ISRM conference is hosted by ISACA—a nonprofit global association serving more than 110,000 IT governance, assurance, risk and security professionals. The conference will offer audit, risk and security professionals the opportunity to attend sessions across a spectrum of topics to gain insight into today’s security, risk and assurance challenges.

Doug Mow, Chief Marketing Officer at Courion, will discuss the evolution of identity and access risk management over the past few years and the role of real-time data insight in mitigating security risks arising from vulnerabilities created by provisioning improper access and constantly changing user requirements.

Marc Lee, EMEA Sales Director at Courion, will explore the current threat landscape and the pressure on organisations to cope with an increasing number of regulatory requirements and security standards. The session will highlight the benefits from a risk-driven approach to IAM and will offer advice on how to ensure compliance, whilst achieving efficiency savings.
