London 30th July 2010: ControlCircle Ltd, (
www.controlcircle.com), a global leader in the design, implementation and 24/7 outsourced management of complex IT structures, has asked British firms to confront the IT challenges of expanding their operations abroad.
Damian Milkins, co-founder of ControlCircle, said: “British firms looking to escape the downturn are increasingly expanding overseas to develop new markets. Control Circle sees six IT challenges that need to be addressed and we discuss these issues in a new whitepaper being made available today on our website as a free download.”
The six issues are:
1. Making systems available globally
2. Ensuring data is synchronised with real-time updates
3. Data Protection and other legislation
4. Challenges of adopting cloud
5. Costs of managing expansion with a lean budget
6. Managing global suppliers and relationships
Figures from the Office for National Statistics has shown a 9.5 per cent rise in exports to £21.3 billion in February 2010, and the trade gap falling by £6.2 billion. The current exchange rates means that British goods and services are much cheaper to sell abroad and the trade gap is at its lowest level in three years.
The whitepaper will be used as the basis for a ControlCircle seminar to be held at their new corporate headquarters in London Docklands on 18 August.
ControlCircle was founded nine years ago and has achieved consistent growth of 65% per year with an annual turnover of £10 million. The firm has been listed as a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 company and was awarded the Best Companies Two Star accreditation.
