LOS ANGELES – Jan. 21, 2010 – Across Systems, supplier of the leading independent linguistic supply chain technology, today announced it has hired Sukumar Munshi as head of key account management to support its international growth. Despite the challenging economy in 2009, Across Systems has continued strong growth in both key accounts and project business, an advance the company attributes to its continued promise to remain an independent software technology provider.

Munshi has a medical degree and more than 15 years of experience in consulting and development of process optimization and IT solutions for enterprise-level multilingual product and corporate communications. In addition to consulting with and managing key accounts, Munshi, working from the Across corporate offices in Karlsbad, will lead a team building new relationships, with a particular focus on the life sciences and financial industries, sectors where there is high demand for multilingual product and corporate communications.

Prior to joining Across Systems, Munshi spent several years at Lionbridge Technologies where he worked his way up from a solutions role to senior management. He was most recently a regional manager, solutions and services development at Lionbridge, one of the world’s leading translation and language service providers. Prior to that, he was a CMS program manager at Bowne Global Solutions.
