« Posted: November 14, 2013, 07:27:05 PM »

– Connected Business includes high level e-health summit in 2014 business and technology collaboration event –

London, Thursday 14 November: - Imago Techmedia announces the inclusion of the Connected Health Summit at its 2014 Connected Business event, which takes place on 4-5 March at London, Olympia.

The Connected Health Summit is aimed at senior level ICT and informatics decision makers in the UK health sector and will focus on the use of communication, collaboration and information technologies to improve patient care, reduce costs and increase staff efficiency.

Duncan Kirk, divisional director, Imago Techmedia, said: “The Connected Health Summit was born following the massive interest we received at last year’s Connected Business event from the health sector.

“The healthcare industry in the UK is now able to access technology which can dramatically improve efficiency and patient care whilst cutting costs. The journey to digital is something which all hospitals will have to embark on and the Connected Health Summit will offer a snapshot of the current and future state of the industry through case studies, presentations, and exposure to the latest technologies.”
