Imago Techmedia’s communication and collaboration technology event – Connected Business Expo – is reporting record numbers of exhibitors. With a rise of 26% floor space sold and 20% in the number of exhibitors, the event is set to be Imago Techmedia’s largest communication and collaboration expo to date.
This year’s event, taking place at London, Olympia on 4-5 March, will cover current and emerging themes such as unified communications, social business, workforce mobilisation, cloud communications and cloud contact centres, content collaboration and WebRTC.
Exhibitors include vendors and specialists from industry sectors such as unified communications, contact centres, video conferencing and enterprise social networking, with many using the expo as a platform to announce news and product launches and showcase innovations.
Unify will be showcasing its Openscape, Blue Light and Trader solutions, and giving the first glimpses of the game changing Project Ansible. Microsoft will be showing some exciting advanced demonstrations on the Lync/Skype platform, including HD video integration for Skype and Room. 8x8 Solutions will be demonstrating its solutions in the UK for the first time.
“We have seen a tremendous increase in the number of exhibitors signed up for the event, as well as in existing customers taking bigger stands,” says Duncan Kirk, chief operating officer, Imago Techmedia. “Connected Business Expo has definitely grown in scope with the expansion of key themes and seminars, such as contact centre and enterprise collaboration, and now with the breadth of exhibitors we’ve attracted to the two-day event.”
Connected Business Expo is sponsored by 8x8 Solutions, AT&T, Cisco, Genesys, Hewlett Packard, Jabra, Jive Software, Microsoft, Mitel, NewVoiceMedia, Unify, and Virgin Media Business.
