Confirmit, the leading global solutions provider for customer experience, employee engagement and Market Research is supporting its customer, Insites Consulting, one of the leading Market Research agencies in Europe, in its bid to successfully complete its ‘100 Mile Challenge’ bike ride across The Netherlands to Belgium on Saturday 1st June 2013.
Starting in Rotterdam and finishing in Ghent, over 40 members of the Insites Consulting team, drawn from all levels of the organisation and from its offices in The Netherlands, Belgium, US and the UK, will push themselves to the limit to raise money for a Unicef school project in Burundi. On the same day, a separate team in Timisoara, Romania will climb local mountain, Retezat, in its own ‘1000 Metres Challenge’.
Gunter Van de Velde, IT and Operations Manager, Insites Consulting explains: “We have put ourselves through a gruelling training programme as a team since February in order to prepare for the event, including 30, 50 and 70 mile practice rides and we are confident that we will make it to the finish line.
“More importantly, we hope to raise a significant amount of money for Unicef’s work in Burundi which aims to increase the number of children gaining access to and completing their primary school education. This is something that we take for granted in the West but which is not automatically available in Africa. Hopefully our challenge will help kids in Burundi to overcome their challenges.”
Tim Hannington, EVP, Confirmit, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Insites Consulting and such a worthy cause. The team is undertaking an amazing feat and we wish them every success.”
