Computop, a leading payment service provider (PSP), has announced the expansion of its international operations with the appointment of an executive team in the North American and UK markets. These executive appointments come on the heels of Computop’s rapid growth over the past twelve months, during which the company achieved 35% increase in revenue and 48% increase in payment transactions across its network.

Leading US operations is Doris Linke who has over 15 years experience in the software industry, working for companies such as Arvato Systems and Siemens. Her background spans management, sales and marketing roles, launching and establishing European companies in the North American market. In the UK, Stephen Berry has been appointed as sales director. A veteran with over 20 years’ experience in the software industry, he has held senior sales and management positions for companies such as Xerox, Dunn & Bradstreet, Cincom Systems and Platinum Technologies.

In addition to expanding its international operations, Computop also ran its annual customer Planet Trade event in June 2011 where over 150 of its global customers and partners attended. Customers attending included the likes of C&A, Canyon Bicycles and Samsung. Companies that exhibited at the event included Computop partners such as 41st Parameter, ClickandBuy, Demandware, INTERSHOP and PayPal.
