Coca-Cola Launch the ‘Rumble Bug’ Online Game
« Posted: August 24, 2010, 08:32:41 PM »

Coca-Cola Ireland are delighted to announce the launch of a new action adventure online game targeting Irish teens called ‘Rumble Bug’, which was developed by Coke’s digital partner in Ireland, Cybercom.

The ‘Rumble Bug’ game draws its creative inspiration from the hugely popular ‘Heist’ TV Ad, launched in 2009. The side-scrolling, action adventure, flying game challenges players to navigate the bugs from the TV Ad through five different levels of increasingly difficult terrain to complete the game.  En-route gamers also have the opportunity to collect icons to be in with the chance of winning phone credit, instantly, or entry into daily the draw for an iPod Touch.

The ‘Rumble Bug’ game was positioned into the global Coca-Cola Facebook page as a route to directly target our Irish teen audience, whom are highly engaged on Facebook. Globally Coca-Cola have developed a single Facebook page to grow a large centralised community of Facebook followers, which has acquired over 10 million ‘likes’. Local markets can integrate applications into this environment and promote them to fans from their local market.

‘Coca-Cola’ and ‘Coke’ are registered trade marks of the Coca-Cola Company
