Clear Channel, the UK’s leading out-of-home advertising company, has chosen Azzurri Communications to consolidate their multiple network, fixed line and mobile telecoms suppliers into one unified communications managed service. The contract will help Clear Channel UK remove cost and complexity from their ICT estate and provide a platform to use technology to work more effectively.
Azzurri will replace Clear Channel UK’s existing Wide Area Network (WAN) with its own new virtual network: the Intelligent Cloud-Optimised Network (ICON). Azzurri will also provide a new audio/web conferencing service and new video conferencing facilities at Clear Channel UK’s three main offices.
Clear Channel UK’s fixed calls and lines and support services from BT will migrate to Azzurri, who will supply a new Mitel hosted voice platform to deliver IP telephony. For mobility, Azzurri will manage Clear Channel UK’s 300 handsets and add substantial value by introducing their sophisticated online management tool, ITEM.
Vim Vithaldas, CEO, Azzurri Communications, said: “Our customers want to focus on their core business, not expend effort and expense managing multiple suppliers. That’s why the first part of our customer engagement is about supplier consolidation, demonstrating rapid ROI and getting the ICT estate fit for purpose. Our managed service, supported by independent consultancy and a flexible contract, then helps steer customers through a market full of disruptive technologies. We aim to future-proof our customers against this disruption, which we believe is a big differentiator.”
