LONDON - 1st September 2011 - Charity Technology Trust has announced two new partnerships with digital strategy services provider, eight&four, and DIY website builder, Wizz-It. The two organisations join CTT’s growing network of partners, which includes IT4Communities and LASA. The partnerships are aimed at providing IT solutions, support and services to charities and not for profits. Eight&four’s and Wizz-It’s packages will focus primarily on boosting third sector organisations’ online presence.

Eight&four has developed a special ‘Digital Mentor’ package for CTT customers. The service will provide charitable foundations with an individual, specifically-tailored 12 month marketing and digital strategy plan, enabling not-for-profits to improve, develop and manage their own internet activities. Eight&four’s team of technology experts will offer training to charities on how to make the most of their online presence, including how to use tools such as social networking and search engine optimisation to raise the profile of their organisations.

Wizz-It has designed a number of ‘website builder’ packages that are compatible with CTT’s online payment processing software, CPTerminal, and email marketing service, CTTMail. The partnership will allow charities to work with easy to use tools to design and build their own websites, complete with safe, PCI DSS certified online donation capabilities.

“CTT’s growing network of partners allows us to extend our reach further into the charity and not for profit community. By combining forces with commercial businesses and social enterprises, we are able to help more charities benefit from the use of technology,” said Richard Craig, CEO of Charity Technology Trust. “These new partnerships complement CTT’s services and will help charities to make the most of the communication channels that the internet and social media have to offer.”

“As one of CTT’s digital partners, we are delighted to offer third sector organisations the chance to gain exposure for their positive work,” said Kate Ross at eight&four. “Our ‘Digital Mentor’ package will help provide charities with the tools and support they need to communicate more effectively with their donors.”

“Accepting online payments and donations means that charities can make it easier for people to contribute to their cause,” said Kinvara Corbett at Wizz-It. “We are pleased that the CTT partnership will allow Wizz-It to help not for profits benefit from a greater online presence and to expand their fundraising strategies.”
